Louise Thompson In Hospital Amid Mental Health Battle

Louise Thompson In Hospital Amid Mental Health Battle

Former Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson is back in hospital and off social media.

Louise Thompson's PR team have confirmed that the former Made In Chelsea star has returned to hospital for the good of her mental health.

She will also be taking a break from social media as she focuses on her recovery.

The reality TV star has been open about her struggles with post-natal depression since the birth of her son Leo-Hunter last year.

The 32-year-old has said she feels like she 'has brain damage' after she 'died and came back to life' following serious complications in her son's birth.

Louise spent a month in hospital recovering from the traumatic experience, but has since struggled with depression, anxiety and PTSD.

She was also recently rushed to hospital after the 'alarming' results of her blood test.

Louise shared how she was feeling on Instagram.

Taking to Instagram last week, she explained that she was 'struggling to move on with normal life' and was at a 'weird stage' with her recovery.

She wrote: "I’m at a weird stage now where I’m blocking everything out.

"Maybe I said that way back at the beginning? I can’t actually remember much because I’m still trying to protect myself from the pain. I don’t want to re-read."

"This condition feels very repetitive. Finally it DOES feel like everything happened a long time ago but it also feels like it happened to someone else and not me. I kind of feel like I’ve erased my entire past and started life as a totally new person."

"A sometimes sick person. People tell me how far I’ve come, but I can’t remember how far. I can remember a weird amount of things from my childhood - sensory things will remind me of the strangest memories from way back when I was 5-15, but then I’ve sort of erased everything between then and now."

While her Instagram account has been an important part of the star's brave battle with mental health issues, her PR team confirmed she would be 'taking a little break from social media'.

They wished her a 'speedy recovery' and said they 'are sending her all the love'.

Louise has been courageous and open about her battle with mental health on social media, but she has also been able to post some of the recent wins in her life there too.

She was able to show how she'd been getting back to the gym and getting into her old habits again, documenting the slow and difficult process of her recovery while making sure to highlight the important wins.
