Katie Price gives update as she investigates ‘deliberate target to kill’ her dog Blade

Katie Price has provided fans with an update as she continues to investigate the death of her dog Blade.

Katie Price has provided fans with an update as she continues to investigate the death of protection dog, Blade.

On Monday (5 June), Price announced her black German Shepard was hit by a car and later found on the side of the road.

In an Instagram post, Price said she was left 'numb and shocked' after her protection dog died following the incident.

Sharing the sad news with her 2.6 million followers on the social media app, Price wrote: "Words [sic] can’t express the lost of my best friend my protector my absolutely everything who had sadly passed away today.

"I have no words to say how I’m feeling but numb and shocked rip Blade."

Earlier on in the day, Grove Lodge Veterinary Group, based in Worthing, alerted the public to the incident.

Price announced her dog Blade died in an emotional Instagram post.

Taking to their official Facebook page, the vet posted: "Unfortunately we have had a large shepherd dog handed into our OOH team last night.

"Found on the A24 near dial post. The dog does not have a microchip, however was wearing a brown Louis Vuitton collar," per LBC.

On Tuesday (6 June), Price took to Instagram once more to confirm she had launched an 'investigation' into the death of Blade.

On an Instagram story, the former glamour model wrote: "Somebody has killed my dog on purpose as a attack against me, I'm investigating."

She referenced it once more in an Instagram post, adding: "Extensions out ready for new transformation literally had so much s**t thrown at me and being single now and now dealing with the suspicions my dog had been killed deliberately so being investigated I need a massive change and move in my life."

Blade's death came just seven months after the model lost another one of her dog's that was killed on the same road.

As a result, some have called for Price to be banned from having animals altogether.

But taking to Instagram stories once more, Price has hit back while also providing an update on the investigation.

"Update. RSPCA have been up to my house not having any concerns about my animals and never have or had but we are trying to put together how Blade died and his last steps as this is a deliberate target to kill him," Price wrote.

It has been quite the week for Price as she has also announced she has split from fiancé Carl Woods - with the pair apparently dating since 2020.
