Book Yourself Into This Hotel Where You Have To Escape Your Own Death
If you are a thrill seeker, but are running out of ways to scare the living daylights out of yourself, then this new creepy hotel experience will be just the ticket.
The Hollow Hotel has been created to replicate the murders of H.H.Holmes, and it sounds pretty scary.
It is all based on the 19th century serial killer who murdered his victims in hotel rooms by creating inescapable labyrinths and traps. It is believed that he took over 200 lives - anyone else got the heebie-jeebies right now?!
A space in Bermondsey, London is being transformed into a hotel by theatre company differenceENGINE, the brains behind Heist.
The Hollow Hotel is being described as an immersive interactive psychological horror, and brave people are being invited to its grand re-opening.
You might need someone to hold your hand though, as if you listen to the whispers in the hotel's corridors, you might just lose yourself.
Each turn will entice you to delve further inside the hotel through a maze of hidden passageways.
You'll either be led deeper and deeper into the hotel's dark heart, or meet a grisly end in a death trap designed just for you. Lovely. (Obviously you won't actually die, but it does sound like a nightmare!)
While you are there, you do need to try and survive the hotel's horrors, escaping every room which will try to kill you. It also has a bit of a Cluedo vibe, as you must work out who the murderer is.
If you still up for it, then The Hollow Hotel will run previews between 9th and 14th April, with the real show kicking off a couple of days later on 17th April.
See you on the other side... or not.
