You Can Now Celebrate Valentine's Day At Hogwarts
Looking for Valentine's Day ideas already, and want to seriously impress your one true love? The chance to spend Valentine's weekend at a three course dinner in the Hogwart's Great Hall might be the ideal date option.
On Friday the 9th and Saturday the 10th of December, guests will first enjoy fancy drinks, like the Love Potion cocktail, and canapés, followed by a three course meal.
Of course, the Great Hall will have some seriously romantical decorations, meaning you'll be spellbound in lurrrrv.
There will be loads of delicious dishes on offer, like a pressed chicken terrine or fig, rosemary and goat's cheese tart for starters.
For main course there's roast rack of lamb and ricotta gnocchi with chive butter.
Those with a sweet tooth will be pleased to hear that there's sharing plates of desserts, which include a mango and passion fruit delice as well as a raspberry and amaretto tart.
Couples will be then given exclusive after hour tours of the magical Gryffindor common room, Dumbledore's famed office, the Weasley kitchen and the Forbidden Forest, before having a tipple or two on platform 9 and 3/4.
Lovebirds will then head to Diagon Alley (basically the wizarding world's Oxford Street) before ending up at Hogwarts for after-dinner tea, coffee and petit fours will be served.
Of course, you don't have to spend this over 18s only day with your partner, as BFFs definitely apply. I know who I'll be taking.
You might have to get yourself down to Gringotts Wizarding Bank for this one, as the 5-hour event costs £495 per table for two.
Tickets for the event go on sale on the 19th of December at 10am, and you can purchase them here.
