Instagram is currently obsessed with cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, whose tips will make you want to mess up your home just so you can tidy it again.

Mrs Hinch aka Sophie Hinchcliffe shares all of her incredible cleaning hacks on her Instagram story for her 870k followers, using bargain products to keep her home spic and span, and smelling like a meadow.

Whether her posts will inspire you to spend your Friday night's hoovering every nook and cranny in your home, or help soothe your own anxieties, Mrs Hinch's account is definitely worth a follow.

We've broken down her top five cleaning tips and the products she uses to keep her home sparkling so yours will too.

How to keep your washing machine clean:

You might not think that your washing machine needs cleaning itself, but Mrs Hinch has a quick and simply method to keep it as fresh as possible as it can sometimes become grotty.

To ensure your laundry comes out as clean as can be, slide out the top drawer and use a bathroom spray to clean it out, and then squirt limescale remover into the empty gap where the drawer was.

To clean the rubber inside the washing machine, use a bathroom spray and an electric toothbrush to remove any dirt, before wiping it all away with a cloth.

How to clean mattress stains:

Cleaning your mattress can be a nightmare for plenty of people, especially if you have young children.

But rather than paying for an expensive professional clean, Mrs Hinch uses bicarbonate powder.

Sprinkle some over any stains on your mattress, working it into the fabric while wearing a rubber glove to protect your hands.

Just leave the powder to work its magic for up to an hour, before hoovering off.

How to make your sink sparkle:

Mrs Hinch has a seven step method to keep sinks and plugholes in her home gleaming clean, which uses six different cleaning products.

First start by pouring a cup full of soda crystals down the plughole.

Next, pour in a cup full of white vinegar, which is available from most supermarkets, and the mixture will start fizzing as it cleans the drain.

The add a cupful of Zoflora disinfectant down the plug, in any scent that you like and let it work its magic.

In the meantime, grab a tub of the Pink Stuff and work it into the stainless steel by using a 'Minky' cleaning pad before wiping it away.

The Minky MCloth anti-bacterial cleaning pad is currently completely sold out across the country thanks to Mrs Hinch but is usually priced at around £2.49 - this one from Amazon could do the same job.

Once this step is complete, pour a kettle full of boiling hot water down the plug to wash away the products.

Spray the sink again with Stardrops' white vinegar spray followed by Cif's Ultra Power stainless steel. Leave this for 10 minutes before wiping away, and you're done.

How to keep doors clean in your home:

With the amount of hands touching the doors in our homes, it is easy for them to get a little grubby and sticky over time.

But rather than having to reach for a tin of paint to keep them looking smart, Mrs Hinch actually uses a fabric conditioner, normally used to keep your clothes soft.

Pour a cupful of softener into a bowl full of water, before soaking your Minky MCloth anti-bacterial cleaning pad in the mixture.

Give your doors a scrub, and they'll be looking like new in no time at all.

Keep your bin smelling as fresh as a daisy:

Kitchen bins are notoriously hard to keep smelling clean, and no matter how often you take the rubbish outside, there always seems to be a bit of a pong.

But Mrs Hinch gives her bin a boost of freshness with one cheap as chips product.

All you need to do is soak a tissue with Zoflora disinfectant, before placing it in the bottom of the bin, and lining it with a rubbish bag as usual.

Zoflora is a concentrated disinfectant that can kill 99.9 per cent of bacteria and viruses that can make you ill or cause bad odours in your home.

It comes in loads of different, gorgeous scents like bluebell woods, citrus fresh, country garden and sweet pea. Mrs Hinch's favourite fragrances are mountain air and springtime.
