Urban Decay Under Fire For Advert Which Allegedly Alludes To Self Harm

Advertising blunders occur all the time.

Match.com sparked outrage when they suggested that freckles were an imperfection, and the Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2 poster accidentally dropped the C-bomb.

Accidents happen, and Urban Decay are the latest brand to cause offense with an ad for their All Nighter Eyeliners.

A number of people have accused the beauty giant of majorly putting their foot in it by using 'self harm' to promote their product.

Others, however, were not offended in the slightest.

Following on from the backlash, Urban Decay have responded to the claims on social media.

But one person was quick to point out that people were more concerned about the language used rather than the image.

So readers, what do you think? Should Urban Decay remove their post, or is this another example of people being oversensitive? Let us know in the comments!
