There's A Gin Cruise About To Set Off And We Want In

One of the greatest things to happen in the past few years is the resurgence of British gin as one of the world's most loved and respected alcohols. From gin hotels to gin Easter eggs it's safe to say we're all a bit mad for a bit of gin.

And now there's an incredible new holiday option for gin fans and we're outrageously excited about it: a gin cruise.

Now, don't worry folks, you don't have to cancel your holiday plans to get on the cruise. It's not a two-week long cruise around the Bahamas; this is one of those ultra-classy evening cruises that you always wish you got invited to.

The boat is called 'The Dorset Queen' and it'll be stocked full of gin ready for a luxurious cruise around the Dorset coast taking in the incredible views of Brownsea Castle, Millionaires Row at Sandbanks, and the islands of Poole Harbour. Considering the Jurassic Coast is one of the most beautiful areas of the country, there are definitely worse places to go for a cruise.

As this is a very exclusive cruise, tickets are limited, but they're not actually too expensive. There are a few different cruises taking place, with different price points to suit every budget.

On the first cruise on Friday 7th April, £35 will get you a single ticket entitling you to three cocktails and some delicious canapés while you're aboard the cruise. Or, if you have a group of friends interested, you can get a six-person VIP table for £300 (£50 each) which gets you the three cocktails plus a bottle of gin and some mixers of your own so you can make your own, as well as all the canapés you can stuff your face with.

Meanwhile the second and third cruises which take place Tuesday 11th and Tuesday 26th April, are a little more up-market, costing £125 per ticket with only 20 people allowed on board at once. However, you get your standard three cocktails made by a resident mixologist from Conker Gin who are Dorset's first gin distillery, as well as a fancy meal at a prestigious restaurant, and then your own 700ml bottle of Conker Gin to take home! Not bad eh?

Essentially, this might be the most exciting boat trip of all time and we've got our sea legs well and truly on!
