Who doesn’t love a good M&S tinny?

While 2019 will always be remembered as the summer of endless rosé, we do like to switch it up every now and again. Great news then that M&S has just launched its latest cocktail in a can in the form of vodka, lime and sparkling water.

Otherwise dubbed the 'skinny b*tch' or spiked sparkling water thanks to its super-low calorie content - an average serve comes in at around 106 calories - one can of the M&S cocktail will add just 113 calories to your daily intake, making it not just absolutely delicious but perfect for those looking to keep their eye on calories after an indulgent summer.

"Many people will know vodka, lime and soda as an absolute classic, however over in the US it's currently THE drink of the moment and taking over picnics and poolsides, as well as filling Instagram with a growing number of social posts and hashtags."

The best is that one can will set you back just £2 and each can has eight per cent ABV (alcohol by volume) - we're surprised they haven't come up with this one sooner to be honest!

It's not the first canned cocktail the British retailer has launched this summer: four new fruity flavours were released in June and they've been flying off shelves ever since. There was a Peach Spritzer, Cherry Spritzer, Aperitivo Spritzer and Vermouth and Tonic drink added to the roster, joining the already popular offerings including Mojito, Pornstar Martini, G&T and Pina Colada.

The tinnies reached legendary status earlier this summer when Labour MP Diane Abbott was forced to apologise after she was caught red-handed on the London Overground sipping on a can of M&S Mojito, which is actually against the law. One Twitter user even turned her into a whole bunch of the cocktails on Twitter and the results were absolutely glorious.

We'll cheers to that.
