You Can Now Buy Kopparberg Rosé Cider And It's A Late Entry For The Drink Of The Summer
I think it's safe to say we've put back a fair few bottles of rosé this summer so if you're looking for a new tipple to see you through the next month or so without turning your back on the pink stuff we have just the thing for you.
Let us introduce you to Rosé Cider - the latest addition to Kopparberg's family of ciders with a refreshing delicate apple flavour and subtle sweetness thanks to red flesh apples, which are also responsible for its sweet taste and blush tones.
Eager fans could get their hands on the new flavour from yesterday (5th August) at Asda for just £2.20 a bottle, and with rosé cider already making huge waves across America, we reckon it will fly off the shelves.
The drink will also be available to buy at Tesco for £6 for three from Monday, 12th August.
While we're yet to try the new drink - it's on our list for later this week - cider connoisseurs say it's an even more summery alternative to that of traditional apple cider, finding a balance between both drier and sweeter alternatives.
"With rosé ciders becoming the latest trend to hit the UK this summer, we are extremely excited to be bringing our newest addition to the Kopparberg family," said Rob Salvesen, Head of Marketing.
"It's the perfect drink for those who like their drinks a little less sweet than traditional fruit ciders and we look forward seeing out new Rosé cider enjoyed together with friends."
This pretty pink craft cider isn't the first drink that the Swedish drinks brand has launched this summer - we've been indulging in its delish pre-mixed gin and lemonade cocktail cans since they came out in June and they've been a staple in all summer picnics and BBQs.
Kopparberg also ventured into the world of gin a few months ago with the release of its first strawberry and lime flavour, with a mixed fruit option a few weeks later.
Keep 'em coming!
