You Can Get A Free Whopper Burger For Lunch Today

Sick to death of microwaved soup? Homemade sandwiches got you bored? Can't bear the sight of another salad? We feel you. Well good news, because today Burger King is giving away free Whoppers as a mid-week treat.

That's right: for one day only Burger King is giving out the iconic burgers for free, even declaring it Whopper Wednesday'. How's that for a hump day treat?

In celebration of its signature burger, the fast food giant is even conducting a 'Whopper-takeover', eliminating all other items on the menu and only serving Whoppers.

The special offer is available across all stores nationwide except for branches at motorways and service stations.

Customers won't get a choice in what they order - in a good way - and staff even tested the concept with burger-lovers in Brentwood...

Katie Evans, Marketing Director at Burger King UK, said: "We are so excited to treat the nation to our iconic Whopper. The Whopper is Burger King's pride and joy, and for one day only we think everyone deserves to get involved, tuck in and savour that flame grilled goodness on us.

"Burger fans have no choice, but in a good way. Hope you understand. After all, Burger King is not called Home of The Cheeseburger!

To claim your free burger, you first need to download the Burger King app, register, and then head to your nearest participating store (be sure to check on this before to avoid crushing disappointment) to claim your Whopper.

Mid-week lunch woes sorted. Now, where's the burger?
