This Unicorn Glitter Gin Is Exactly What We Need This Bank Holiday

There are hundreds of gins out there but this glitter marshmallow gin is the perfect drink for this bank holiday weekend.

Throwing glitter at things definitely makes everything better, and gin is no exception.

There are hundreds of gins out there and we will ever get tired of trying them all but this glittery unicorn gin is definitely the one this bank holiday.

Glitter has taken over this summer with glitter gin bottles and glitter bums taking over social media.

Apart from just the fact it is glitter in a glass, the Zymurgorium gin also tastes like marshmallows - someone pour us a double.

Bartons Wines and Spirits in Wigan, posted a picture of the gin on its Facebook, and social media users are going wild for it, with hundreds declaring 'they need it'.

And just £24 a bottle we can see why.

With the bank holiday weekend on the way, there is no better way to spend it than sipping sparkly gin in the sun.

We already can't wait to see what cocktails we can magic up with this sparkly treat.

As if gin couldn't be any better for summer, it was also suggested in April this year that gin could actually help with hayfever.

This is because unlike some alcoholic drinks, such as red wine and cider, gin contains less histamines - the substance released into your body when you have an allergic reaction.

Asthma UK says: "As well as ethanol (pure alcohol), alcoholic drinks contain a natural food chemical called histamine, which is found at particularly high levels in red wine and some beers.

"64 per cent of people with asthma say certain types of alcohol triggers their symptoms. Red wine is the main culprit, followed by white wine, beer and then cider."

As if you didn't need any more of an excuse to enjoy a gin this weekend.
