This Harry Potter-Inspired Afternoon Tea Looks Enchanting
Despite Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and the rest of the magical gang being all grown-up now and living their happy lives somewhere outside of the muggle world, we are still obsessing over the spellbinding saga.
So, when we hear about any event inspired by the wizarding world, then we can't get enough of it.
The Potion Room in London is launching an afternoon tea inspired by Harry Potter and it sounds like it will be enchanting.
While it isn't an official Harry Potter event, us muggles will be able to put on our best robes, and take part in a potions class to conjure up some delicious treats under the careful watch of the potions master.
Tatiana Krotovskaya told PRETTY52: "Guests will find themselves in a wizard's classroom, dressed in a gown with a wand, you will concoct edible and drinkable potions in their alchemy pots under the watchful guidance of a virtuoso Potion Master, whilst enjoying a delicious and specially created all-natural Afternoon Tea."
There will be no pornstar or espresso martinis, as each drink has a bewitching twist, containing ingredients foraged from the Forbidden Forest, like the Unicorn Sours, Goblin's Punch and Hot Chocolate Bugs.
You'll also be able to scoff some yummy goodies which look like they have come straight from a feast in the Hogwarts Hall.
There will be a selection of finger sandwiches full of roast chicken dinner, honey roasted ham and ploughman's, a proper pie, rock cakes, butterscotch biskie, and knickerbocker bite.
Tea and coffee will also be served, as well as a big goblet of pumpkin juice on the side. There is also vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, wheat-free and a children's menu.
You'll need to leave room in your belly for surprises too!
The magical event is taking place in the basement of Cutter & Squidge in Soho, London, which has been kitted out to look like a potions classroom.
This interactive experience will last for two and a half hours and standard tickets are £49.50 for entrance to the Potion Class and the full afternoon tea feast.
VIP tickets are £79.50 and include entrance to the Potion Class, the full afternoon tea feast, two alcoholic drinks from the special Potion Room menu and a special premium goodie bag.
There are also children's tickets for eight to 12-year-olds, which includes a smaller version of the full afternoon tea feast.
