A Norwich restaurant is serving up all the wizardry with its magical Harry Potter-themed afternoon tea.

The Assembly House in Norwich's delightfully magical treat is inspired by the spellbinding franchise, and includes chocolate wands, teeny sorting hat cakes, philosopher's scones with sparkly fruit jam, and blue macarons with Harry's lightening bolt scar dusted on in gold plus a butter beer flavoured filling.

It looks like a luxurious afternoon tea experience, as it is situated in the middle of a city in a regal manor and the menu looks delicious.

The Harry Potter-inspired tea is running up from 28th November until the 2nd January 2019, so there is still plenty of time to book yourself a spot if you like the sound of what is on offer.

There are even more delicious goodies to get your chops around, including the the boy wizard's gateau opera, which is the venue's signature cake with a scarlet and gold twist and topped with its own sugar scarf.

If you are after something even sweeter to satisfy your sweet tooth, then Dudley's knickerbocker glory with exploding lemonade might be the perfect treat.

This indulgent dessert is filled with chocolate syrup, strawberry compote, vanilla cream and scattered with lemon sherbert, freeze-dried raspberries and popping candy, making it fit for any witch or wizard.

If you have always longed to know which house you would be sorted into, then look no further than the solid sugar wizard's choosing hat. It sits on top of a dipped mousse cake which is hiding a vanilla secret inside.

There is also a choice of savoury treats such as cheese toasties and club sandwiches.

Vegans don't have to miss out either, as The Assembly House caters for all dietary needs, and the offerings sound just as tasty.

This afternoon tea in Norwich is pretty reasonably priced too, as it will cost £20.95 for one adult, £40 for two. Kids pay just £12.95 for a special selection off the menu.
