For anyone who likes French, Italian, Indian, Asian cuisine, or just food in general, garlic is king.
The ingredient amps up any dish, while the smell of frying garlic has a place in the Top 5 Best Smells Of All Time - but it's getting to that stage is that's the hard part. Aren't those pesky cloves annoying to peel?!
De-skinning every single individual clove is one of the most time consuming parts of preparing a garlicky meal, but it turns out we've been doing it wrong the whole damn time.

Circulating on Twitter is an alternative method for peeling garlic, and it looks super simple, and more importantly, QUICK.
Valentina, a video game creator from Toronto, posted her technique on the platform, writing: "As someone who makes a lot of Korean food, this is the best method for getting garlic peeled!"
The video shows her de-skinning her garlic at lightening speed with a simple stab and twist technique. She simply works round the garlic bulb, one clove at a time, sticking in a knife and twisting it out of the skin.

The now-viral technique seems to have confounded Twitter, as has been shared over 120,000 times and liked over 350,000 times.
Chrissy Teigen couldn't get over it, writing: "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT."

Another user made the good point: "Not sure how I never knew about this. I lament when I consider how much more garlic I could have used during all these years had I only known of this technique."
"I don't know how poorly my Italian ancestors had failed me," another wrote.
Of course the main question is is it as easy as it looks?! We cannot wait to try this tonight and find out.
