While we're perfectly happy munching down on regular treats, we do love a bit of novelty food in our lives. Even more so when it's inspired by our favourite four-legged friends.
Without further ado, let us introduce you to Mr Kipling's new limited-edition pug-inspired range of cakes that put a special twist on some of the brand's top products including Whirls, Mini Batts and Slices. And they look amazing.
Did we mention that they only cost £1 a pack?
First up, the Pug Almond Flavour Mini Batts created with brown and white chequered sponge wrapped in a soft almond paste.

After that, there's the Pug Chocolate Whirls are light shortcake swirls filled with a smooth chocolate flavoured filling and sauce that have been designed to match a pug's swirly tails.
Last but not least are the Chocolate Slices consisting of a chocolate flavoured and caramel coloured sponge topped with a layer of chocolate flavoured icing.
The slices and whirls come in a six pack and the mini batts as five, making them perfect for sharing with your mates on the go, but we reckon we'll keep them all to ourselves to scoff during our weekend binge-watch of Mindhunter season two.
The packaging comes designed with a cute cartoon pug and paw prints and you can get your hands on the new range at Tesco now. It will be available in Morrisons soon but for a limited time only so don't wait around too long.
This isn't the first time Mr Kipling has put a creative spin on its snacks - in 2017 we went wild for its Unicorn Slices which were layers of pink sponge sandwiching a vanilla flavour filling and topped with decorated purple fondant icing. Lush!
Last summer it also introduced delicious flamingo slices with fruity flavoured sponge topped with a layer of mouthwatering pink icing and delicate yellow decorations.
We reckon the latest pug addition could be our favourite one yet.
