McDonald's Is Now Selling A New Cheesy Camembert-Filled Doughnut
If you like doughnuts and you like cheese, then you may want to book a flight to Germany.
McDonald's in Germany has unveiled 'Camembert Doughnuts' which is made of real Camembert cheese that is breaded up and deep-fried and the result is a deliciously crispy, golden ring filled with creamy cheese.
For those who are not familiar with 'Camembert', it has quite a lot in common with Brie and is often served in similar ways. It's made of cow's milk and has a more flavourful taste.
McDonald's Germany describes it as "a hearty side dish" which is "crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside."
These cheese doughnuts come in a box of seven and include two packets of cranberry sauce for dunking. The new side costs 3.99 euros about $4.90 in U.S. dollars.
In other doughnut news, it's worth mentioning that Krispy Kreme is now selling doughnuts in honour of the original doughnut fan that is Homer Simpson.
That's right, you can now actually taste the bright pink, rainbow sprinkle covered delights that the character can't get enough of IN REAL LIFE.
Naturally, Krispy Kreme has named its creation 'D'ohnuts', and has announced its the yummy arrival on social media to fans.
The yummy doughnuts are glazed, and are then dipped in delicious strawberry-flavoured, white chocolate truffle icing with a few sprinkles chucked over the top for extra jazziness.
As per, these aren't actually available in the UK yet, as they are only being sold by Krispy Kreme in Australia.
Guess we'll just have to keep everything crossed that these delicious treats will be quickly landing in stores over here ASAP.
But if you are lucky to live down under, then you can get one for free on Thursday, 29th March if, like Homer, your surname is Simpson.
