There's been all kinds of food festivals under the sun recently, and it doesn't look like the trend is going to be slowing down anytime soon.

From chicken nuggets to cheese to prosecco and pizza, there's been events to tantalise everyone's taste buds.

And now, Manchester is going to be host to an authentic Lebanese hummus festival on 1st March.

That's right, if you're a fan of the old hummus and pitta combo, you'll be able to dip into some delicious delights, and even buy pots of the stuff for just a quid.

I'm sold.

There will also be hummus wraps if you want something more substantial, and it's all 100% vegan.

The event is being held by the University of Manchester's Lebanese Society, and over 3,000 hummus lovers have clicked 'attending' on the official Facebook page.

Get ready to do some serious dipping!
