If you love hot cross buns and wine, but never thought the two would work well as a combined treat, we're about to blow your minds: Lidl has just brought out a new wine designed to taste just like the popular baked treat.
Costing £6.99, the new Moscatel Reserva de Familia tastes like hot cross buns due to its strong notes of raisin and fig and is available to buy in store now.
The sweet vegan wine is created from Muscat grapes that are sun dried for between 10 and 15 days on specialised esparto dry grass from North Africa and southern Europe, and is then allowed to mature in oak barrels, which enhances its strong flavour and adds to the sweet, syrupy texture.

Lidl's Master of Wine, Richard Bampfield, calls the drink the "perfect indulgence".
"This rare Spanish wine from the historic Malaga region boasts unique aromas of raisins and sweet spice, very much like that of the cinnamon and nutmeg flavours in hot cross buns," he says.
"An exciting find and superb value, this wine is the perfect indulgence for all your Easter treat needs."
The budget supermarket brand has been launching lots of delicious treats of late. For Easter, the chain is selling bunny-shaped chicken nuggets, and for dessert, you can enjoy the incredibly tasty gin and prosecco Easter egg that doesn't only taste great but looks incredible too.
