Lidl, the supermarket giant, has just raised the bar by releasing two pre-mixed cocktails to see you into spring without doing all the hefty leg work.
Cocktail lovers can now choose between a Negroni or Espresso Martini. The Negroni was launched to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the classic cocktail.
To best serve the Negroni, Lidl recommends pouring it over ice with a swirl of orange rind to add that touch of citrus.

Along with Negroni, the supermarket has also launched the ready-to-drink Espresso Martini, a mix of vodka and coffee flavours. To serve, Lidl recommends making sure it is shaken, strained and chilled and topped with whole coffee beans.
Each cocktail bottle is Insta-worthy with its art deco design and comes in a 500ml priced at just £9.99.
You get five servings in each bottle which works out to be £1.99 per glass, but if you don't fancy sharing Lidl is also selling a giant cocktail class that would hold the whole bottle for just £4.99. If Prosecco or wine is more your thing, then they sell glasses that hold whole bottles for those too.
If that's just not enough variety for you, why not try other pre-mixed options? Waitrose do a tasty £2.25 Margarita in a 200ml bottle or a mix up your own with a hot cross bun flavoured gin for Easter from Gin Tales on Not On The High Street.
