Ikea Is Selling A Flat-Pack Chocolate Bunny For You To Build, Then Demolish This Easter

If you're looking for a tasty project to get your teeth stuck into after building a wardrobe this Easter then Ikea have nailed it - but this time there's no hammer required. The Swedish furniture brand is selling an adorable flat-pack, milk chocolate bunny that comes in three separate pieces and requires DIY assembly.

If you're feeling productive as well as hungry, you can get hold of the DIY bunny in all Ikea stores barring Greenwich and Tottenham Court Road in London and all Order/Collection Points.

The rabbit costs just £2.95 and is available until Easter (which this year falls on Sunday, 21st April 2019) or until stocks last - so make sure you hop to it if you don't want to miss out.

Part of the VÅRKÄNSLA range, Ikea has created the three-piece milk chocolate rabbit using only certified cacao from sustainable sources, and it's sure to go down a treat with flat-pack fans.

It ties in with Ikea's sustainability strategy, in which the retailer aims to transform the furniture business, the industries in the Ikea value chain and home life for people across the world by 2030.

The retailer explains: "Not only is Ikea's VÅRKÄNSLA chocolate bunny super delicious, it can also double up as a decorative Easter figure, perfect for your seasonal celebrations."

But before you scoff the chocolate with no-bunny else to share it, bear in mind that a 90g bunny contains 482 calories (but hey, it's Easter so treat yo'self after your DIY endeavours).

Ikea has 21 stores across the UK and Ireland. Use its store locator tool to find your nearest.

In more bizarre Easter news, ASDA have dropped a Marmite Easter egg, which is set to cause even more of a debate on where to draw the line with the savoury spread.

Whether you 'love it or hate it', Marmite insist that "you have to try it".

It'll set adventurous shoppers back £3 from ASDA and you can buy from the website here or go in store to pick up your box - but with all this hype you'll need to grab one quickly before the controversial eggs are all gone.
