Hotel Chocolat Launches All-Natural, Vegan Ice Lollies
Hotel Chocolat is venturing into the world of ice cream as it just unveiled a range of all-natural ice lollies, which will be your go-to in the summer months - plus two of the four flavours are totally vegan.
The luxury confectionery company's frozen lollies are made from real fruit and dipped in chocolate, and will be launching in stores next month on 6th May.
Hotel Chocolat's new range includes two vegan options - refreshing orange and lemon dipped in dark chocolate or the deep yet mellow double chocolate ice cream lolly stick.
There are two more flavours in the collection - salted caramel brimming with dulce de leche notes and dipped in caramel chocolate as well as tangy strawberry and cream, which is cloaked in high-cocoa white chocolate.
Hotel Chocolat's new ice creams will first be available in 10 stores across the country: Birmingham Bullring, Cambridge, Derby, Hitchin, Leeds Trinity, London King's Cross, London - Regent Street, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and St. Albans.
Each of the lollies will be priced at £3.25 a pop, and will join Hotel Chocolat's current vegan products when they are released, which includes truffles, organic chocolate bunnies, hot chocolate, turkish delight and more heavenly options.
Vegan high-street ice cream offerings on on the up, with companies such as a Halo Top, Alpro, Ben & Jerry's and Häagen-Dazs all launching dairy-free versions of their beloved flavours to keep up with the demand for dairy-free alternatives.
Most of the vegan options already on offer tend to be tubs of ice cream rather than single sticks, so hopefully Hotel Chocolat's options will help to expand the options for those following a dairy-free or plant-based diet.
We'll be immediately purchasing one of each to find our favourite flavour as soon as these ice creams arrive in stores next month...
