Forget about white chocolate eggs and cute bunny-shaped crumpets, this is the only Easter-themed treat you'll ever need: hot cross bun-infused gin.

Building on the traditional toasted hot cross bun with lashings of butter we all know and love, the gin is back again this year for Easter. It combines the flavours of sultanas and citrus with spices, like cinnamon and nutmeg.

Priced at £35 per 50cl bottle from Gin Tales at Not On The High Street, the juniper-based spirit matches perfectly with tonic, ice and fruit.

The tipple is described as "a beautiful gin infusion with citrus, sultanas and Easter spices" by the company behind it.

"Hot Cross Gin has hatched... crack open a bottle today and let the Easter flavours escape," adds the product description. "Our Hot Cross Gin is an adult twist on an Easter favourite... leave the buns and chocolate for the kids, this is Easter for grown-ups!"

The gin has a four out of five star rating on the website, with shoppers praising it for its "utterly delicious" flavour.
