Everything seems to have had a boozy update this Christmas, and it's definitely got me tipsy with excitement. All the Crimbo classics have had a twist too, like gin-filled baubles, crackers with prosecco inside, and alcohol infused mince pies. Yummy.
Morrison's has just released another booze-infused treat, and it sounds absolutely delicious.
In a completely genius move, the supermarket has created gin-flavoured cream, and it'll be the perfect addition to all your mince pies this festive season.
Harrogate-based gin brand Slingsby has teamed up with Morrisons for this limited edition pouring cream (£2.50), which is made with their award-winning juniper based spirit, reports Cosmopolitan.
The cream is extra-thick, and is flavoured with the same 24 botanicals found in Slingsby's gin like rosemary, thyme, rhubarb and primrose. This is making me want a G&T already. YUM.
The creation is a bit of an update on the already delicious brandy cream that is the usual accompaniment for all that Christmas pud-pud and mince pies you shove down your gob every year.
Mike Carthy, from Slingsby producer Spirit of Harrogate, explained: "Giving a new, festive gin twist to a classic ingredient like cream was something we were very excited about experimenting with and we hope people enjoy it just as much as we do with their friends and families over the Christmas period."
It seems like we can't get enough of gin, and now the festive season is upon us, there's no slowing us down.
There has been loads of quirky but delicious creations added to the supermarket aisles, like Aldi's sloe gin-infused mince pies and Lidl's gin and pork crisps.
We have also all been obsessing over Lidl's two new pink gin liqueurs, as they are just pretty AF. They both had delicious fruity flavours like rhubarb and ginger, and raspberry, and were a steal at just £11.99.
