For the first time in 63 years, Disneyland will be serving alcohol in its magical parks by 2019.

Up until now, only customers who had a membership to exclusive lounge, Club 33, have been able to enjoy booze during their time spent at the parks.

But now, you don't need a fancy pants membership card to treat yourself to a tipple or two in the magical kingdom, as you will now be able to try out themed cocktails in the parks as a regular customer.

As the parks are over in Florida and California, you'll need to be 21 or over to tantalise your taste buds with a few drinks in Oga's Cantina in the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy Edge section.

The Disney Parks blog announced: "No self-respecting remote outpost on the edge of the galaxy would call itself a smuggler's planet with a cantina, and Black Spire Outpost is no exception.

"Today, I'm pleased to share more details for Oga's Cantina, which will be serving pilots, bounty hunters, smugglers, locals and galactic travelers alike, when it opens in 2019.

"Oga's Cantina is the kind of establishment that attracts some of the most interesting and disreputable characters in the galaxy. And you never know when a stormtrooper or a familiar face will show up."

While the cocktail menu is being kept under wraps, customers are being promised drinks made from exotic ingredients, using out of this world methods, meaning they are sure to be worthy of a few Instagram snaps.

The blog continues: "Patrons of the cantina come from across the galaxy to sample the famous concoctions created with exotic ingredients using "otherworldly" methods, served in unique vessels.

"With choices for kids and libations for adults, the cantina will make for a great stop!"

Just like in the films, the bar will be run by Oga Garra, and there's also going to be a DJ.

While you might have visions of whizzing round Space Mountain with a bottle of fizz in your hand, the park's policy means you'll only be able to consume booze inside the Cantina.
