Costa is marking the start of spring with a brand new menu filled with Easter-themed treats.

The menu also includes new vegan and gluten-free options in both sweet and savoury flavours to put a spring into your step.

If you're after a sweet treat to accompany your morning coffee, then the new chocolately-filled cornflake nest topped with mini Easter eggs might float your boat (£1.95).

Cronuts

Or, you can try the light and crispy Costa Coffee Snackwafers, available in two cream filled flavours - cocoa and vanilla - each £1.20.

The menu also sees the return of the popular Choc-O-Crunch priced at £1.95, which is a ring of crispy rice bound in caramel flavouring and covered in three different pastel shades of white chocolate.

Those following a gluten-free diet can enjoy a raspberry and coconut bar (£1.80), consisting of gluten-free pastry with a raspberry and sultana filling and a tropical coconut topping to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Joining these sweet treats are the gluten-free vegan fruity flapjack (also £1.80), filled with gluten free oats, sultanas, cranberries and apricots.

Costa's new warm cheese scones (£2.49) combines mature Irish cheddar, parmesan-style cheese, chives and a spice hit of cayenne pepper for a super cheesy snack.

And the coffee chain's Cheese Twist (£1.99) sees a buttery puff pastry completed with mature cheddar and parmesan-style cheese.

Costa's breakfast menu includes the introduction of the Costa Coffee Bircher (£2.35), made with Greek-style yoghurt, grated apple, apple juice, oats, blueberry and mixed berry compote, all topped with dried cranberries and a scattering of pumpkin seeds.

"With spring being a time to try new something new, there is no better time to introduce new seasonal items for our customers to enjoy, Costa's commercial marketing director, Eric Tavoukdjian, said. "We are excited to expand our vegetarian and gluten-free range, as well as offering a variety of Easter themed treats to Costa fans."

All are available in stores nationwide from today (Thursday, 7th March).
