Aldi has announced the return of its alcoholic ice lollies just in time for the upcoming bank holiday weekend - and this time there are two boozy new flavours to get your chops around.

The supermarket chain's latest lolly range now includes pink gin and tonic pops, giving a frozen twist on an already super summery drink loved by many.

There's also a passionfruit flavour for a zesty and fruity hit, which could be similar to a pornstar martini in its flavour if that's your tipple of choice.

The classic G&T variety, which was launched in-store back in 2017, is also making a return for another summer.

All three boozy flavours are priced at £2.99 for a pack of four, which works out at an absolute bargain of just 75p per lolly.

A spokesperson for Aldi said: "Inspired by Britain's love of gin, this year's new flavours include Pink Gin and a Passionfruit Gin, which will be joining the classic Gin & Tonic, which launched last year.

"What's more, the Gin & Tonic flavour has only 55 calories, Pink Gin has only 79 calories and Passionfruit only 80 calories."

"At only £2.99 for four (equating to 75p per lolly), these icy treats will add a touch of cool to any celebration, and at that price, it's worth stocking up on them for the whole summer!"

The ice pops will be available nationwide in Aldi stores this summer, and if past years are anything to go by, they will be super popular with shoppers - last year, over 280,000 single popsicles sold in just one-week.

And because they contain actual alcohol, you will obviously need to be over 18 to purchase the alcoholic popsicles.
