Aldi Is Selling Salted Caramel And Baked Apple-Flavoured Gin
Aldi has launched a salted caramel and baked apple flavoured gin, and it sounds like Christmas in a bottle.
The gin will satisfy your sweet tooth, and will be the perfect tipple to sip in front of the fire this winter.
Priced at £14.99, the mouthwatering liqueur is a limited release available in store and online - you'll have to be quick if you want a sweet little treat for over the festive season.
Offering a sweeter alternative to more traditional festive drinks, the supermarket suggests that the liqueur can be served neat over ice, or with tonic or lemonade.
Aldi is also re-launching its limited-edition winter warmer gin, which is infused with cloves and cinnamon.
First sold at Aldi's first ever Gin festival last year, the tipple was one of the supermarket's best-selling products.
Eden Mill's Botanical Project's booze is officially award-winning, and the tipples picked up several prizes at the International Spirits Challenge 2018 and the the 2018 Scottish Gin Awards.
It seems that Aldi really wants to get all its customers in the festive mood, as its six litre bottle of prosecco was released in stores last week.
The huge bottle of bubbles, officially known as a Methuselah, hit stores on the 14th November and are also available online.
Although it might sound a little bit expensive at £79.99, the bottle is big enough to fill up to 64 glasses, so you can definitely have a very merry Christmas.
It also means it's about £1.20 a glass, which makes it sound like a complete bargain.
The tipple is light, fun and frothy with notes of parma violets, ripe pear and papaya.
Aldi says: "Be everyone's favourite guest this Christmas with this show stopping Methuselah bottle of Giotti Spumante Prosecco, the equivalent of eight regular sized bottles or 64 glasses.
"A sweet, almost creamy, mouth full with flavours of lemon zest, tangerine and pear mean this Prosecco is sure to be a crowd pleaser this year."
