Aldi has started selling fancy chocolate wine again for the festive season, and it's the perfect indulgent treat.

The affordable supermarket first stocked Rubis chocolate wine on its shelves last year, and now it is back by popular demand.

Bottles of the sweet, chocolatey wine cost less just than a tenner, making it the perfect gift to pop in your loved-one's stocking at Christmas.

The £9.99 wine contains a blend of Tempranilla grapes and chocolate essence, and has hints of spice, vanilla and fresh cherries to give it a deliciously festive twist.

"Our chocolate wine is an unforgettable taste sensation - extraordinary in every way," Rubis promises with its wine. "Surprising, distinctive and deliciously decadent it satisfies the curious and rewards the adventurous."

If you were to pick up a 500ml bottle of the same wine elsewhere, it could cost you upwards of £13.39, so you will be making a decent saving if you choose to purchase from Aldi.

Don't let its bargain price put you off either, as the chocolate tipple won a 'Silver Outstanding' award for quality in the International Wine and Spirit Competition.

The indulgent wine will be available from Aldi stores from 14th November - expect a riot in the booze aisles if you want to get your hands on some.

Aldi is providing all the wintry cheer this season, also launching a pumpkin spice Irish cream liqueur for just £6.99.

"Aldi's beautifully rich and creamy liqueur has been infused with classic Pumpkin Spice flavours, and is balanced by hints of cinnamon and nutmeg," reads the product description.

"A wonderful sipper for the colder months, enjoy this liqueur on its own over ice, or alternatively, add it to the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte for an extra kick."

The creamy treat will be available in Aldi stores from 4th October, so you best getting stocking up.
