If I have a glass of prosecco in one hand and a slice (or two) of pizza in another, I'm going to be a very happy lady. If, like me, you're a HUGE fan of bubbles and cheesy dough, then this may well be the festival of your dreams. Get a pizza this (soz!).

A pizza and prosecco festival is going to be touring around the U.K starting at the end of August. This sounds utterly amazing.

The event will begin in Cardiff on the 27th August, before heading to 15 other towns and cities including Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and London. So wherever you are, you won't miss out on the chance to fill your bellies full of pizza and fizz. Delicious!

A huge twenty different types of prosecco will be served throughout the day, but if it's got bubbles it's good enough for me. You can also expect yummy sparkling cocktails too.

There will also be loads of food to choose from served by local pizza traders. Doughboys, Ffwrnes and The Original Goodfillas will be satisfying all your pizza cravings, and The Tiny Tipple Van will be at the events filling up your flute.

Live music will be played too, as you snuggle up under blankets and outdoor heaters, which sounds dreamy!

The event is also a bit of a bargain too, and ticket prices start at just £10. The tickets also include a glass of fizz on the door (YES) and a 'Pizza and Prosecco Bible' for each guest. I don't think you're going to want to miss this!

If pizza and prosecco aren't your thing (weird), a cheese festival is also coming to the U.K later this year. There will be all kinds of fromage treats there too, as well as lots of delicious beers and wines.

If you're a big fan of bubbly, Prosecco Pong has just been launched, making it more acceptable to neck back several glasses of fizz one after another:
