It's one week into October which means it's officially the month of Halloween and we can start carving pumpkins, watching our favourite horror movies and eating sweets to our heart's content.

However, there's a different kind of pumpkin catching people's eyes on Instagram and they're a tad more delicate than just cutting a face into the front of it and hoping for the best.

People are taking their pumpkin decorating to the next level by painting Chinoiserie-inspired prints on their pumpkin, and they're absolutely incredible. One Etsy user, Indigo Home, is even selling her intricately designed pumpkins online.

If you want to add a bit of sparkle into your life this Halloween then get on Go Get Glitter's new 'bumkin' trend.

Sophia Levy, makeup artist and co-founder of Go Get Glitter, told Marie Claire: "The glitter bum trend we started is so popular, we wanted to find a way to tie it in with the Halloween content we have been creating.

"Our peach bum was, and still is, one of our most popular looks, so we wanted to recreate it with a Halloween twist!"

To create the design, Sophia says they used black and orange paint to draw out the shape and filled it in using glitter, which is biodegradable.

We're not sure it is really suitable for the office or family Halloween party, but it's definitely a look.
