Couple 'Turn Home Into B&Q' On 'Ugly House To Lovely' House

"Because everyone wants to live in a B&Q warehouse..."

A couple have been slated on social media for 'turning their house into a B&Q warehouse'.

Armin and Amifa from Bellingam in London appeared on Ugly House to Lovely House in an attempt to transform their 1920s semi-detached house into a home fit for their growing family.

However, the couple have been criticised online by changing their dark and dingy house into a dark grey building with neon orange windows.

Armin and Amifa only had a budget of £80,000, so didn't intend to drastically change the property, but once they saw a sample of the orange windows - they fell in love and just had to have them.

However, once the completed house was revealed at the end of the programme, we realised the couple had decided to paint every single window - in addition to the dark grey exterior, and viewers weren't impressed.

Some viewers were worried about how the couple's neighbours would respond to the new design, while others branded it 'uglier' than before. One person even said they'd turned their home into a B&Q.

Ugly House to Lovely House is on Thursdays at 8pm on Channel 4.
