Skincare savvies are currently raving over a £26 anti-ageing serum from The Body Shop, with a bottle selling every 23 seconds.

And if that glowing figure didn't sell the Drops Of Youth Concentrate to you already, then the reviews speak for themselves.

Enriched with Community Trade organic babassu oil from Brazil, the product is said to target the first signs of ageing with a gel-like serum containing three different plant stem cells: edelweiss from the Italian Alps, criste marine and sea holly from the Brittany Coast.

The formula soaks into the skin, ironing out any fine lines and refining pores.

As per the product description: "Target the first signs of ageing with our youth-enhancing concentrate. This refreshing gel-like serum is infused with three plant stem cells, and leaves skin feeling instantly smoother and replenished with moisture. Skin unveils a healthy luminousity and a youthful bounce."

And 99 per cent of the The Youth Drops' ingredients are of natural origin and, as always with anything from The Body Shop, it's completely cruelty-free.

The anti-ageing product is rated almost five stars on The Body Shop's website from over 180 glowing reviews.

One happy customer wrote: "Can 100% say I'll be repeat purchasing ongoing! Beautiful- I'm 27 so wasn't looking for an anti-wrinkle treatment, but regardless this is a wonderful product."

Other reviewers said that the serum had cleared up their acne and scars, leaving their skin baby soft.

Somebody else wrote: "My skin finally looks hydrated, which has helped my scars look less noticeable. It has also brightened my skin.
I like the smell, it's nice, subtle and very fresh. This absorbs so well, you only need a little and I found each bottle really lasts me a long time."

The serum comes in two different sizes - 30ml and 50ml - which are priced at £26 and £33 respectively (meaning you get more for your money if you purchase the bigger bottle).

Body Shop's Drops Of Youth Concentrate is part of the company's extensive Drops Of Youth collection, which includes the new face mask sheets, moisturisers and eye creams.
