The Gypsy Shrine's Created Peel Off Glitter Glue Just In Time For Festival Season

The Gypsy Shrine's Created Peel Off Glitter Glue Just In Time For Festival Season

Sparkly glitter has become a festival staple over the years, and has the ability to make even the most hungover of faces look pretty.

Had p*ss thrown over you the night before at the main stage? Slap a bit of glitter on your face. Fell headfirst into a portaloo? Put a bit of glitter on.

But while we're all loving glitter, it turns out the environment isn't and loads of festivals have now banned glitter from their sites in an attempt to stop it polluting our lands.

Thankfully, we can still shimmer away at festivals, as loads of brands have created biodegradable pots of the stuff that are just as pretty and much more environmentally friendly.

And The Gypsy Shrine has gone one step further by creating peel off glitter glue that is both vegan and better for the environment.

It's really easy to use as you just put the glue wherever you'd like to sparkle and tap on the shimmer. Then when you're all done glowing, you just peel it off and put it in the bin. This means that the glitter is not going down the drain into the sea when you wash it off your face.

A tube of this festival essential will set you back just £10, and you can purchase it here.

Loads of brands have created snazzy biodegradable glitters to go with the new glue, and we are all for it.

Chatting to PRETTY52 about its own environmentally-friendly collection, The Gypsy Shrine said: "The biodegradable glitters are slightly finer in texture and really easy to move around the face and body - and of course have the added benefit that because they biodegrade - they're not harming the environment.

"We've had a lot of customers so happy with the fact we now offer biodegradable glitter and everyone seems happy that we're making a conscious effort."
