The Bratz Challenge Makeover Has Gone Viral And These Photos Reveal Why

Instagram loves a challenge. And this one is going to be pretty nostalgic for noughties kids.

People are using make-up, hair and accessories to transform themselves into iconic Bratz Doll looks - and we're here for it.

Missed Bratz? You missed out. Yasmin, Cloe, Jade, and Sasha had big eyes, bigger lips, a killer wardrobe and sass.

Imagine Barbie had a little sister who became a beauty vlogger (even though they didn't exist then). That. Call it foreshadowing.

It seemed to originate in 2017 on Instagram and Reddit but is having a real 2019 moment and has gone viral with YouTube sensation Niki Tutorials posting her take on the challenge on Instagram on Wednesday.

Some make-up artists are transforming themselves into dolls with vitiligo when they don't actually live with the condition.

Vitiligo, which affects about 1% of the population, is a chronic condition that causes areas of skin to lose their usual pigment and turn very pale or pinkish.

Make-up artist, Lauren Elyse, who lives with the condition explained why mimicking a condition for likes can be deemed offensive, with a post captioned: "I don't need someone who doesn't have it to 'celebrate' it or 'raise awareness'.

Check out the #bratzchallenge then have a go yourself - there's some pretty stiff competition out there.
