Instafamous Beauty Brand Melt Cosmetics Finally Launches In The UK

It's got the backing of A-list celebs like Rihanna, who wore the products to the 2017 Met Gala.

Beauty brand Melt Cosmetics has been causing a stir on social media since its sell-out launch in 2013.

Melt is the brain child of MUA's Lora Arellano and Dana Bonmar, who felt uninspired by the cosmetics available to them while working on the make-up counters.

Fast forward six years, and the brand has amassed 2.6 million Instagram followers plus celebrity backers. The collection now includes a number of cult beauty products which fill in the gaps in the market.

And now the brand behind Rihanna's iconic 2017 Met Ball blush look is launching in the UK, after what feels like an eternity of waiting and lusting over the Instagram posts.

It's unafraid to take risks, and Melt encourages its customers to be utterly, unapologetically themselves.

Melt Cosmetics is now exclusive to Beauty Bay, where you can pick up a number of its cult products like the intense blushers, shimmering highlighters and bold lipsticks.

Prices start at £14.50 and there's also a flash sale across the collection at the moment. The range hasn't yet landed in full, but there's still a plethora of cosmetics to choose from.

The liquid set lipsticks come in 14 different shades ranging from deep cherry reds to cherry blossom pinks, each £16.

These are described as long-wearing liquid lipsticks, with a smooth, comfortable formula, which promises to be smudge-proof too.

There are 19 lip pencil colour options, all of which define the lips to deliver a flawless, professional finish.

The lip pencils last up to 12 hours and also deliver a smudge-proof formula for £17.

Melt Cosmetics' lipsticks are £16, and come in a range of matte, iridescent and metallic finishes.

Mary Jane - an iridescent purple/red - will be your go-to colour this festive season.

Beauty Bay's also selling the brand's blush, which come in two shades (£18.50) as well as three shades of the digital dust highlighters (£32.50).

Straddling the line between the two latter products are the blushlights, which enliven your complexion with a combination of cream blush and shimmering highlight.

These are £17.50 and come in seven pretty colour options.
