90s Girls: How Many Of These Products Did You Use As A Kid?

If you were born in the 90s, you'll know all about the weird and wonderful products we used to use. We thought we were the dog's bollocks. Whether it was putting glitter in your hair during a birthday party, or rolling on that weird lipgloss at the school disco - we all did it.

Nowadays, tweens are becoming pros with their contouring kits and YouTube tutorials. Sadly, we didn't have that privilege. We were more likely to look like we'd had an accident with a glittery cream eyeshadow factory than be mistaken for a young Kardashian.

But the memories are nice, right? Just keep those pictures away from me.

Let's take a trip down memory lane...

Roll on glitter. It had a super weird smell and always made your skin go all hard and crinkly but it was the ultimate face accessory to the school disco.

Blue mascara. Nothing says fierce like a girl in blue mascara!

Impulse, Charlie or So...? body sprays. The Spice Girls version was a particular fave of ours.

Sun in. "Mum, please please please can I lighten my hair? PLEEEAAASSEE?!"

Jelly gloss. It tasted delicious, so naturally we may as well have just gobbled it straight from the tube rather than putting it on our faces first.

Concealer. How else would you make your lips the same colour as your face? We would PILE that sh*t on until we were as caked and oily as can be.

EVERYTHING in the Boots Glitter Babes collection. Perfume, nail varnish, body wash. We were obsessed.

Dream Matte Mousse. This was (and still is for a lot of us) the go-to foundation for all of us and we'd NEVER use a make-up brush.

Anything that came out of Sabrina's Secrets magazines, tbh. We were suckers for a freebie.

Hair mascara. We didn't care that it was all gloopy and didn't stay in very long, we were badass.

Clear mascara. If your mum was one of those that wouldn't let you wear make-up before a certain age, clear mascara was the product for you. Even though it did absolutely nothing.

Tooth gems. They were a 90s face staple. Despite the fact it made you look like you had something stuck in your teeth.

Pop in some butterfly clips, slip on some jelly shoes and grab your bubble bag, and you were good to go.
