When Katy Perry first entered the music game, she had luscious dark locks, but in 2017 she ditched her iconic black do in favour of her now signature, white blonde short cut.
While it's normal for celebs to switch up their look every now and then, at the time Katy revealed there was actually a deeper significance behind her dramatic new appearance.
"I'm really strong as Katy Perry and then sometimes I'm not as strong as Katheryn Hudson," she said while appearing on Viceland Therapist.

"People like talk about my hair, right? They don't like it or they wish that it was longer. I so badly want to be Katheryn Hudson that I don't even want to look like Katy Perry anymore sometimes."
So, katy cut her hair in a bid to find some relief from her public persona as Katy Perry, as she returned to her "authentic self."
However, it seems like Katy has come on leaps and bounds in the last two years, since she admitted experiencing suicidal thought.
The popstar is now engaged to her former lover Orlando Bloom, after years of us secretly hoping they'd find their way back together, and it seems her happiness is shining through as she switches up her look once again.

Although she hasn't quite returned to her former iconic look, Katy has once again gone back to long hair, but this time it's blonde - and she looks incredible.
