TOWIE star Amber Dowding has been rushed to a Spanish hospital while filming for The Only Way Is Marbs.

The 24-year-old, who is currently dating Jesy Nelson's ex Chris Clark, was in Marbella with her Essex cast-mates when she was reportedly hit with a mystery 'vomiting bug' - though the exact cause of her illness is yet to be revealed.

Talking to The Sun, a source revealed: "Amber and Chris recently came back from Antigua but Amber had been really suffering and struggling to keep anything down."

They continued: "Production rushed her to hospital after seeing the state she was in during filming in Marbella and she was hospitalised for a few days, which was really worrying for Chris."

However, it looks like things could be improving for gorgeous Amber, who is said to be recovering.

Explaining how her health is progressing following her sudden hospital admission, the source confirmed: "Thankfully she's on the mend now but is having to take tablets everyday to keep the sickness at bay."

But Amber isn't the only cast member to make headlines while filming in the Spanish sun, as TOWIE icon Gemma Collins also landed in the public eye after she posted a video of herself singing The Sound Of Music in a Marbella car park.

Taking to Twitter, the 36 year old shared the bizarre video with her 1.25 million followers - but decided not to include a caption.

Wearing a flowing pink dress, the hilarious 'GC' waltzed around the car park as she belted out some notes from the hit musical.

Unsurprisingly, many of her social media followers were quick to comment, with the majority expressing how hilarious they had found the whole ordeal.

"She is my actual favourite person ever," said one amused fan.

While another added: "We ALL need to channel our inner Gemma Collins babe."

A third chimed in: "These are giving me life. Thank you."

Maybe Gem will treat Amber to a big tune from her favourite musical while she gets better. If she's lucky.
