This Is How Much The Celebrity Big Brother Contestants Are Being Paid For Entering The House
It's that time of year again! Sixteen 'celebrities' are heading into a house filled with cameras to create some truly trashy TV which will no doubt keep us entertained over the coming weeks.
But have you ever wondered how much money it actually takes to coax the different personalities into the CBB arena?
The answer is a lot, with show bosses forking out thousands of pounds for the new season, which kicked off last night.
Here are the official figures:
The American producer has apparently managed to negotiate a whopping £600,000 deal to appear on the show.
The British actress is best known for playing Sam Mitchell in Eastenders (and for having a much publicised cocaine addiction throughout the 1990s and early 2000s). According to reports, she will reportedly take home £200,000 for appearing on the show.
Former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davies was allegedly sacked from the soap last summer after turning up drunk to work. She is set to pocket £150,000 for her stint on the Channel 5 show.
Cheban, who is allegedly famous for being Kim Kardashian's best friend (what a time to be alive), has apparently signed a £300,000 deal to take part.
The former Stricly Come Dancing star is reportedly set to receive £100,000. Not bad.
The Only Way is Essex personality is also set to take home £100,000, but she only lasted about two days in the celebrity jungle so hopefully she'll perform better this time.
The London candidate has reportedly signed a measly £60,000 deal, which is 10 times less than Liza Minnelli's ex husband David Gest. Wouldn't have that, Winston. Sort it out.
