It's been a tough week for Kesha. Last week her legal battle against Dr Luke and Sony Music came to a close after a judge refused to allow her to leave her contract with the music giants after she alleged that Dr Luke sexually and physically abused her for years.

However, despite a ruling which was no doubt disappointing for the pop star, plenty of her fellow stars including Lady Gaga, Zedd, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift publicly stepped forward to offer their support with Taylor even donating $250,000 dollars to help Kesha off-set legal fees in this difficult time.

Until now we haven't heard anything from Kesha herself, but she's finally broken her silence with an Instagram post in which she thanks her supporters and promises to release a longer statement soon:

She writes:

I am beyond words in gratitude. thank you is not enough but it is all I have. a million times over and forever thank you. the support I have received has left my face swollen from tears. I love you all so much. a statement too large for this format is coming....

Only time will tell if Kesha decides to appeal the decision but it certainly seems unlikely that she'd go back to work with Dr Luke again willingly...
