WATCH: Fans Still Can't Get Over James Bay's Short Hair
Despite chopping off all his locks back in November, fans still can't get over how different James Bay looks with his new snazzy hair 'do...
Appearing on Lorraine on Thursday morning, the musician discussed his brand new album with show host Lorraine Kelly, although it seems like his short locks were the only thing fans could talk about on social media.
As the 'Let It Go' singer revealed all about touring with the Rolling Stones, viewers of the ITV chat show took to Twitter to admire his refreshed look.
"Since when did James Bay cut his hair?" questioned one person watching the show at home.
While a second gushed: "James Bay looks so much better with short hair!"
"WHEN DID JAMES BAY CUT HIS HAIR like seriously where have I been? it's ok still love u [sic]," exclaimed another fan.
And a final simply put: "James bay w short hair >>>>."
Plenty of fans also pointed out that he's had the 'do for a fair amount of time now too.
James Bay was first spotted at the MTV EMAs with his super snazzy new look back in November 2017.
The musician, who rose to fame with hits like 'Let It Go' and 'Hold Back The River', had become well-known for his infamous long locks, usually topped with a jazzy hat of some kind.
It seems like James has finally taken off his fedora, and by the looks of things, it is for good.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about his short hair, James explained: "If anyone thinks my talent is in my hair, they're listening to the wrong dude.
"I suppose in a small way it was nice to do it to say, 'Look, I'm an artist and I have to evolve. I do different things, but I'm the same songwriter.'
"I'll test myself and push my own boundaries because I trust my fans, and if we're going to have an exciting relationship then we need to push each other."
The singer, who hails from Hertfordshire, is set to release a brand new album, titled Electric Light, which will drop on Friday, 18th May.
