Tesco announced yesterday morning that they were teaming up with Jamie Oliver to create a 'range of delicious, healthier and affordable recipes' and Twitter didn't disappoint with the responses.

The supermarket has announced the new campaign with the TV chef to help make healthier options more accessible.

Now everyone has very mixed opinions on the chef - some love his 15 minute meals, and others can't get over the fact he got rid of Turkey Twizzlers forever.

It seems like Twitter is full of people who can't forgive him for removing their favourite treat from their school dinner as they didn't hold back their feelings towards Tesco's announcement.

One user wrote: "Nooooooo whhyyyyy???????? This guy is such a killjoy on everything tasty. BRING BACK TURKEY TWIZLERS AND DONT TAKE AWAY ANY MORE OF MY SUGARY, FATTY OR SALTY FOODS [sic]."

A second added: "Thanks to you, I now have to pay more for a drink to help me keep hydrated and fuelled, simply because overweight people can't buy their own Diet drinks. Thanks for nothing Jamie [sic]."

Another took the chance to make reference to his war on Turkey Twizzlers as well as touching on the recent jerk seasoning row and simply said: "Jerky Twizzlers anybody?"

Of course, because we all love when supermarkets argue on Twitter, Lidl even got involved and simply said to a customer who was thinking of boycotting Tesco: "We're always delighted to see new faces in our stores Chris, you'd be most welcome."

Jamie has said the aim of the partnership is to help people cook from scratch more - something that he believes is the 'best way to look after your health'.

He said: "Together, we want to empower Tesco customers to eat better food, and promote real change in the eating habits of the nation.

"It's about embracing beautiful, fresh produce to ensure we get maximum goodness in every meal. We want to help you feed your family with good, wholesome meals, so you know exactly what's in the food that you're eating. I don't think anyone would argue with that."

He added: "Tackling childhood obesity is my major focus for the next 12 years. We know it's a big challenge, but there are some really exciting ideas developing about how to make our whole environment healthier - like stopping advertising junk food to kids, introducing price promotions for healthy ingredients (not just unhealthy food), and giving schools proper support to teach kids what healthy looks like.

"It's going to be an interesting time, but I'm up for the challenge!"
