Rio Ferdinand And Kate Wright Share First Picture Since News Broke Of Her 'Quitting Showbiz'

How cute are Rio Ferdinand and TOWIE's Kate Wright? As we all know, Rio's been through a tough time over the last few years. He tragically lost his wife (and the mother of his children) to breast cancer, and then shortly afterwards his own mum, Janice St. Fort, died of the same disease.

So when the pair began dating, the public were thrilled for them both. They then began posting sweet Instagram pictures which showed that he had introduced her to his kids.

The couple are very private, but they've given us another sneak peek into their relationship after posing for this gorgeous picture of the couple out for Kate's mum's birthday.

Kate's TOWIE co-star, Mike Hassani, shared the photo, and captioned it: "Family night out for @jacquelinewrightx birthday hope you had a good one xx"

This comes just days after Kate announced that she will be giving up the media spotlight to be able to care for Rio and his children.

In an interview with The Sun, Kate spoke about her career, saying: "I'm taking a step back from the public eye, I want to keep my life private as I lived my previous relationship on TOWIE, my priority right now is Rio and the family."

Kate is also known for being a spokesperson for a number of brands, so it is likely she will be parting ways with these companies, and apparently she is also ditching her agent as she prepares for her 'normal' life with Rio and his children.

In the past, he has spoken out about how he coped with his wife's death, and being both a dad, and mum, to his children...

We're so happy for the family.
