It looks like it's all over for Love Island's Laura Crane and Jack Fowler, as the couple have just confirmed that they have called time on their relationship.

While Laura and Jack never actually made their romance official, it appeared as if things were going from strength to strength, with both Islanders gushing about one another on social media.

But in a joint statement issued on Sunday, surfer Laura and personal trainer Jack explained that their busy post-villa schedules put a strain on their relationship.

"Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together," Laura told Metro.

"Feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life. We will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can't wait to see where it takes us."

By the sounds of things, their romance hasn't ended on a sour note, as Jack added: "We met in extraordinary circumstances and had an amazing time getting to know each other, both whilst in the villa and outside of it but our lives are currently taking us in different directions.

"We will remain friends and I will support her in whatever she does. I wish her all the best. See you soon surfer girl!"

The couple met in the final few weeks of Love Island series four, with Laura entering on day 43 and immediately catching the attention of Jack, who was then coupled up with Laura Anderson.

They aren't the only Islanders who have made the decision to un-couple in recent weeks, as Jack's former flame Laura Anderson and Paul Knops have gone their separate ways too.

And just like Laura and Jack, flight attendant Laura and model Paul seemed to struggle to make their romance work outside of the villa.

Confirming their split, Laura told OK! Magazine: "When we came out of the villa there was a lot of work related things we did together and then Paul went away for three weeks.

"I was hoping that when he came back we'd spend more time together and build a proper relationship out of the villa. It didn't happen."
