Lady Gaga revealed two new inkings on Instagram on Thursday. One is a giant tattoo on her back, inspired by her role in A Star Is Born and another is her name written in musical notes - which fans were quick to point out contained an error.

The tattoos were done by L.A.-based tattoo artist Daniel Stone, also known as Winter Stone.

The first is the outline of a giant rose covering her spine with the words "la vie en rose" referencing the iconic Edith Piaf song she performed both as Ally in the early scenes of A Star Is Born and on her 2015 'Cheek to Cheek' tour with musical legend, Tony Bennett.

She showed off her new inking on Instagram with the caption: "Happy Valentine's Day. A tattoo toast to "la vie en rose" by the beautiful @winterstone my spinal cord is now a rose."

Fans went crazy with one saying: "Wow this is such a beautiful tattoo"

Another said: "Omg this is beautiful"

While a third simply commented: "Love it"

Daniel Stone proudly flaunted his masterpiece with a regram of her picture on his own Instagram feed saying: "I can not express enough the honor it was tattooing you @ladygaga you are a breath of fresh air and truly a magical and inspirational woman!"

Bradley Cooper, who also directed A Star Is Born, had a deep connection to Gaga's rendition of the song too.

He told the Associated Press that it was when he saw her perform 'La Vie En Rose' at a fundraiser, he knew he needed her for his film.

"She demolished the room," he explained. "I knew that was plutonium."

Let's not forget about Gaga's controversial second tattoo. The clever piece of body art shows the musical notes G A G A on her forearm. According to her caption, her manager Bobby Campbell got a matching inking.

She posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: "G A G A...and when you get a tattoo and you're me you always have to get two" .

But Gaga had a bit of a tattoo emergency after fans noticed it was missing something.

Some of her followers noticed that on the second tat, there were only four lines in the musical staff instead of five. One Instagrammer commented: "A staff has 5 lines Gaga what..."

"What a drunk musical crisis ," she replied. "I studied music theory... that's what happens when you drink and tattoo."

She then posted two new posts of the corrected tattoo with the captions: "Musical crisis averted. Too many tequilas forgot the fifth staff line poor thing. Here's the real deal"

And a second saying: "As a music theory student I'm appalled, as someone having fun with their friends I'm relieved"

These two inkings are just the latest of Gaga's expansive tattoo collection, including a 'Born This Way' unicorn on her leg, a Tony Bennett trumpet on her arm, a portrait of David Bowie on her side, a mouse above her elbow, and many more, according to Billboard.
