Little Mix's Jesy Nelson Reveals That She 'Nearly Had A Breakdown' During Tour

Little Mix's Jesy Nelson Reveals That She 'Nearly Had A Breakdown' During Tour

Little Mix's Jesy Nelson has revealed that she 'almost had a breakdown' and 'begged for help' when she was preparing for another tour.

The girls' tour schedule has raised concern from their fans, even prompting a hashtag - #GiveLittleMixARest.

She opened up to the Observer, and revealed that she was left crying on her bedroom floor as she attempted to pack for the Glory Days world tour.

Explaining, she said: "I was looking at all of my suitcases on the floor and burst out crying. I was like 'I can't do this'.

"Literally, I nearly had a breakdown. Like, 'I need help. I just want to be home'."

She added: "In the pop industry, it's hard to pause. With pop music if you go missing for more than a year, they've forgotten about you."

One fan took to Twitter to beg for the girls to be given a break, saying: ""Perrie's voice is damaged, Jade's chest hurts, Leigh can't even finish the lyrics and Jesy looks exhausted

""They have been overworking nonstop for 2 years and they've done 3 TOURS this year. They need rest, can't you see how much pain they are in #GiveLittleMixARest".

However, when asked if they believe that they've missed out on a normal life, Jesy said: "We were thrown into this industry without a clue about what was about to hit us,

"It was just the worst thing ever. Strangers saying things about you that you didn't even know about yourself. And you question yourself. But do you know what's weird? I feel like now that people can sense we've stopped giving a sh*t, we don't really get it any more.

"I think it's a really sad world that we live in, with social media, where people love to scrutinise girls and women. But we set a good example. We embrace who we are, we're not perfect and we know that."

It seems like the girls just can't catch a break recently, as last week Jesy felt the wrath of some of her fans after she uploaded a video of her new dog.

He's called Reggie and he's amazing, tbh...

While the post was adorable, some of Jesy's followers fired back at the star for putting Reggie in her back pack, rather than letting him walk on his own.

One user blasted: "A dog should dam well walk not be put in carry bags."

"Can you please let that poor dog walk by himselfe [sic]," exclaimed a second Insta user.

A third commented: "The poor puppy smh."

"So so cute, just hope he is comfy in rucksack," advised a fourth, and another chimed in: "Please teach her how to raise a pup otherwise he'll pee in her bed and bite her fingers off."

A final slated: "Please don't be one of those ladies who treat their pup like a doll or a toy, he's a dog, let him walk!"

Gushing messages did flood in from Jesy's fans though, who couldn't cope with the "cuteness overload" from the Little Mix singer, who first rose to fame on X Factor...

"AHHHHH THATS PRECIOUS [sic]," exclaimed one of Jesy's Instagram followers, as a second added: "So adorable and cute."

This isn't the only social media post that has sent the band's fans into a meltdown. A recent pic of Jade Thirlwall and Jesy wearing matching pyjamas sent Mixers into a frenzy.

BFF goals.

Both ladies were wearing seriously cute Toy Story jammies, and fans couldn't get enough of them. Some demanded to know where they could get a pair of their own from too.

Just in case you were wondering, the sets are from Primark, but they are currently sold out! Dammit.
