By now, everyone knows about Faryal Makhdoom and soon-to-be ex-husband Amir Khan's massive Twitter spat.

The Bolton boxer, 30, began proceedings by announcing that he and his wife, whom he married in May 2013, have agreed to separate. Khan said he "wished her the best".

But the fighter then claimed that she had been messaging world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and ripping into the mother of his child.

Anthony Joshua responded to the accusations with some pretty funny Tweets...

Well anyway, Faryal and Amir have both broken their silences.

Faryal was first...

The Tweet read: "I've been quiet for some time... because I myself didn't know what's going on. Everything that's going on is just not right and a complete misunderstanding.

"The screenshots sent to Amir were 'fake' and Amir thought Joshua and I were speaking... when we have never even met. Anger took the better of him and he tweeted away without thinking there was absolutely NO truth to it.

"It's all cleared up with both teams now and again, there was NOTHING like that going on. Apologies for all this nonsense. Let's get on with life now..."

Amir added:

It reads: "I partied in Dubai with friends to get my wife angry. Shouldn't have. That's not like me and I'll prove that."

In a Tweet, that has since been deleted, he wrote...

He also apologised to Anthony Joshua for dragging him into the Twitter spat...

Well. I guess that's that then.
