Ariana Grande Asks For ‘One Okay Day’ In Series Of Emotional Tweets
Ariana Grande posted a series of emotional tweets on Thursday night, where she asked for 'one okay day', before deleting them shortly after.
The singer has had a tough couple of years since being caught up in the Manchester attack in 2017, which was followed by the tragic death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller earlier this month, so fans were understandably concerned after reading the messages.
Her first tweet read: "can I pls have one okay day. Just one.pls [sic]."
Ariana then followed the message with several more emotional tweets leading fans to grow concerned over the singer's well-being.
Some of the tweets were deleted - however, her original thread looked like this:
Ariana didn't hint at whether a specific incident led her to post the tweets, or what had made her delete them.
She later apologised to a fan account on Twitter for creating any cause for concern.
The singer wrote: "ur angels in my life. it's just been a tough month. i'm trying to get my work done and get back to normal and it's hard and i'm human and tired. sorry i let u in or worried u. i shouldn't have tweeted. ikno better [sic]."
Following the death of Mac Miller, the 25-year-old has faced a difficult time, which led to her pulling out of her appearance at the Emmy awards last week.
Ariana broke her silence on her ex-boyfriend's death by posting a picture of him to her Instagram, but was quickly forced to disable comments because of trolls blaming her for his death.
A few days later Ariana took to Instagram again to release a heartfelt statement about the rapper.
She wrote: "I adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can't believe you aren't here anymore. i really can't wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i'm so mad, i'm so sad i don't know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else[sic]."
