Show bosses say that the Geordie presenter won't make a comeback until 2019.

Geordie presenter Ant McPartlin won't be returning to the I'm A Celebrity jungle later this year.

Show bosses have confirmed that Ant won't make a comeback to the show until 2019.

It's unclear whether Ant's longtime presenting partner Dec Donnelly will front the show on his own.

The statement read: "Ant McPartlin today announces he will continue to take a break from all television presenting roles until 2019. Ant will not present I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in November this year."

Ant returned back to rehab for a second time earlier this year, after a three car crash in West London. He was found guilty of driving under the influence and was slapped with a huge fine.
