If you're looking for a winter getaway Air New Zealand is selling flights to LA for less than half the normal price during February.

Now that Halloween is out of the way,it's time to start thinking about a little winter getaway, and although LA might feel like a million wages away, it is about to get a lot cheaper than you'd think.

Air New Zealand is offering return flights to LA from London Heathrow for £175 on selected dates in February.

Just so you understand how cheap that is, return flights between LA and Heathrow can be around £350/£400.

The reduced-price flights out to Los Angeles will only be for select dates in February 2019, with return flights to London being available on certain dates in February and March.

February is the perfect month for a little get away - you've already done Christmas, partied a little too hard at New Year and spoilt yourself in the January sales, so there's no better way to finish it off.

So why not live it up with the Kardashians or pretend you're an extra on The Hills.

The deal is part of Air New Zealand's Black Friday sale, and the only catch is that there are only 100 tickets available.

So you need to stay positive and maybe be extremely lucky to snap up the deal.

Last year a similar deal sold out in minutes, and the airline is expecting the same to happen this time.

Air New Zealand notes that you haven't secured the cheaper fare until you either complete payment for the booking or opt for a Fare Hold, which allows you to reserve fares for up to three days if you pay £25.

The advantage of Fare Hold is that you don't have to complete your passenger details or select your seats until later. Which means it is quicker than completing your booking straight away but remember the £25 is on top of your flight fare.

The airline also suggests that you sign up for their point system so that you can log in before the sale starts so that all your details are entered automatically saving you precious seconds.
